Business Education Series

The Business Education Series is a series of educational seminars designed to educate businesses about current topics. 

This chamber networking event is open to all chamber members and their employees, as well as to non-members.

Good Morning Cedar Valley

"Good Morning Cedar Valley" events help our busy members stay in the know about community and business issues. These events feature Cedar Valley community Mayors and a County Board of Supervisors representative. Breakfast is served. There is no cost to attend. RSVP is required.

Power Networking

"Power Networking" is a structured event designed to maximize your number of contacts in 90 minutes. Each participant will have the chance to give a one-minute commercial about their business and trade business cards with 25 different people.  Make sure to bring plenty of business cards. 

This chamber event is open to all chamber members and their employees. Limited to two representatives per member and fifty attendees.

Committee Orientation

New Member Welcome

"The New Member Welcome" is a breakfast event held at the chamber offices. This event introduces and welcomes new members to the chambers. It's a great opportunity for new members to learn about the value of chamber membership and link up with one another in a fun, informal networking environment.

Annual Celebration

"The Annual Celebration" is a yearly event put on by the Greater Cedar Valley Chamber.  It has one major theme - recognition. The chamber uses this yearly gathering to recognize individuals, businesses and organizations. Event includes dinner and entertainment.

Cedar Valley Leadership Institute

"Cedar Valley Leadership Institute" is a professional development series designed for business members who want to develop and strengthen their leadership skills within the community. Tuition fees ($795 per person) and application process apply. Limited to 30 participants.

This program is open to all chamber members and their employees.

New Teachers' Breakfasts

"The New Teachers' Breakfasts" are breakfast events held in Waterloo and Cedar Falls.  They are our way to show appreciation for the new teachers, and give local businesses the opportunity to welcome them to the Cedar Valley.

My Waterloo Days

"My Waterloo Days" is a community festival that focuses on family entertainment and attracts over 150,000 people throughout the four days. Includes many unique events like Dragon Boat Races, Televised Parade, Fireworks, Music, Children’s Events, Arts & Crafts Show, variety of food vendors and much more. The event takes place the weekend after Memorial Day. The event has been in existence since 1982.
